Der Hammer (Markus Schleidt) will be proudly wearing The Ronnie for the next 12 months!

 Der Hammer came to Oktoberfest so excited to return to the land of his birth.  Markus hails from Heidelberg, but he was just as at home in The Himmel Der Bayern in Munich.  Der Hammer was all smiles even before he arrived in Germany. He was so excited to be a part of the Hacker Herren.  I think he smiled for 72 straight hours and spread good cheer and coziness for three straight days.  He personifies "gemutlichkeit". We are all so proud to call him a ROY. He is a rookie in the tent, but he's no rookie.  We're already looking forward to welcoming him back again and again.  

Goldie and His Huge Smile Are Wearing the HAM Vest for 2026

Goldie has joined the proud wearers of the HAM Vest as the 2026 winner of the Veteran of the Year!  This was Goldies 12th year in the Himmel Der Bayern and he was very proud to don the vest.  Goldie lights up the space that he is in with his infectous smile and he spreads gemutlichkeit all around.   Congrats Goldie.  Wear the vest with pride!
