Preparations For Setting Up Ofest Are Beginning

Click the link at the bottom of the blog to follow the action...
Some of you non rookies will be amazed to see the landscape of Ofest prior to the setting up of the tents and rides. The buildings go up and then get taken down after the "Wiesn" ends. Hopefully they also clean up the Hill of Shame so you don't have to lay down in Stan's puke from last year!

Sign up to tour Munich on a bike!

We are going to organize a bike tour of Munich utilizing Mike's bike tours. See their website at http://www.mikesbiketours.com/1.html

The cost is about $40/person. It will be a good way to see munich while you are over there and to get a little culture. It is not a taxing ride, so even with the worst of hangovers, you should still be ok. I think we will depart at around 10am on Saturday morning, ride have lunch, see Munich and be back at the hotel by 3pm. I need to know how many are interested, so email Herr Hasselhoff (kbloomrhp@yahoo.com) and let me know if you are interested. You will just pay for it when you are in Munich.

PROST!

Rounding the Clubhouse Turn...

We are rounding the corner and heading for home regarding the details of our trip. Proofs are now approved for all of the schwag and some of the schwag is already in. Thanks to Dennis Colvin from Denco Inc. for handling all of this stuff for us. Randy Hahn and Dennis and I are coordinating this effort. We are finalizing the hotel details with our travel agent and with the hotel. Thanks to Joe Sanchez for helping me to coordinate the rooms. These things sound easy, but when you are doing it for 60 people, it isn't easy, believe me!

We will be sending the details to you as we get more of them. Please find details of the hotel address and phone number in the links at the bottom of the blog. Also, you can find maps of the train system and other useful links.

Let me know if you have further questions. Some things may be obvious to me, but they aren't to the rookies.
